What is Fusion Fundamentals?

Fusion fundamentals is the place to start your journey with Autodesk Fusion. You don't need any prior knowledge of the platform, or any other CAD package to get started. The course can be broken down into individual modules, or you can register for all of the modules.

Course Objectives

Mastering the Fundamentals:

Gain proficiency in the Fusion interface and core modeling techniques (sketching, basic shapes, Boolean operations, transformations).
Develop an understanding of parametric modeling, feature history, and design principles.

Building 3D Models:

Create and edit complex 3D models effectively, including assemblies and surfaces.
Translate design concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing 3D representations.

Module 3 - Modifications

Fillets, Chamfers and Shelling
Splitting and combing bodies
Scaling up and down bodies
Choosing appearances and materials

Module 4 - Assemblies

As built and rigid Joints

Joint Limits and simulations
